Just in case you were curious as to why I turned out the way I have, this should provide some wonderful insight.
Apparently, I had this big blue basket of books that I would drag around at all times when I was 3-4, and I would dump it everywhere and pretend to read the books. This would explain the reason why my room looks like this:
If I didn't understand my math homework (absurd!) in my first few years of elementary school, I would literally destroy my bedroom out of frustration. I would violently throw everything off of my desk, knock it over, rip down posters, flip my bed, and stab the walls with assorted and pointed objects. My mom would threaten to videotape me and show my teachers. I don't know what this explains, but it's too interesting to leave out.
Once when I was little, I asked my mom to take me "on a field trip" to the Post Office so I could mail myself a letter. Once again, I have no idea what that means, but I'm sure Freud would have a few words.
Oh, Sigmund... Who doesn't respect a psychoanalyst with sex-crazed mothers drooling over him and his psychedelic fluffy couch? Most people.
There was more to the overall conversation, but I'm far too lazy to keep going. You get the idea.
In ten days, I will be here: Dans dix jours, je serai ici : En diez días, estaré aquí:
I don't even know what to do, I'm so excited. No puedo aguantar más de ese puto colegio, y solo quiero irme. Ya he salido mal en mis exámenes de esta semana, porque a mí no me importa un culo. Je veux seulement m'en aller en Colombie et ne pas être dans l'école ici.
I didn't have school yesterday! So I didn't have an exam. It was fantastic. And I'm on Skype right now!
I've discovered the teenage trashy obsession that is picnik; basically a really easy photo editing website. Since I had nothing to do all day, I decided to take advantage of my finding the USB chord for my camera and edited pictures of my friends. I have friends, for real.
.
And that's all. Janelle, Nicole, Gabe, Matt, Donnie, and Blue.
Woo! It was fun. And for a very short post, this kinda took forever.
Why am I posting for the second day in a row?! I'm bored.
Watch this: *R rated*
It's a piece of cake to bake a pretty cake. That rhyme isn't very good. Let's spice it up a bit:
"Rape me with a rake and I will bake a pretty cake."
Now that's catchy.
Want an idea as to how snowy it is outside?
See:
Not even kidding. Now this is quite spiffy. I write all of these using the HTML, so I switched over to compose to see what this looks like. And I'm writing beside an avalanche. That's pretty cool. The thing is, I don't really know when I'm done writing next to it. Maybe I'll post another picture.
Wow, that looks cool. I love that album, and you should too. I'm actually listening to Sister Winter from Sufjan's 5th Christmas album since it's all snowy and whatnot.
KAP History exam tomorrow. Grrrrr. Hopefully this turns into a full out blizzard (knocking over houses, crippling the elderly, etc.) and school is canceled tomorrow. If that is the case, I won't have the exam until TUESDAY because we have Friday and Monday off. Yay Martin Luther King Jr.!
You see, I was about to post a picture of him, but I figured that having a Lil' Jon/Lazy Town video and MLK Jr. in the same post would be way too random.
Now I get to think of something to do until 7:35 tomorrow morning. Studying is clearly not an option. I suppose I'll watch another movie. WHICH REMINDS ME:
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly was such a great movie! It really shows you how much you take for granted in life. The main character is paralyzed and can only communicate by blinking his left eye. The film explores his imagination, his memory, and the results of his relationships up to, and during, that point. He writes a book during his paralysis. Unable to move the vast majority of his body, a transcriber recites the French alphabet by order of frequency (most frequent letter first and so on) and he would blink when the correct letter was stated. Those are individual letters...and he wrote a book. It's based on a true story and it's incredibly sad. The book would be a very interesting read.
I still have to see Y tu mamá también. I might watch that today. I was also recommended El bola and the trailer looked really good. The French film I wanna see the most at the moment is Entre les murs and I can't find it anywhere!
Okay, I need to stop posting. This post has taken me at least 45 minutes.
Is Twitter any good? I might have to check that out since everyone else is doing it. Peer pressure is fun.
Neil Patrick Harris on Saturday Night Live!
Okay, but seriously. I've embedded like 4 videos. I should go do something. I think I'll link this blog to UniLang. UniLang is full of bored people so I bet more than one person will read all of this.
Sure! You're standing right beside it, but I understand; extending your arms is simply out of the question. It's only been open for two hours. Luckily for me, it's right by the computer and the weather channel says that with the wind chill it feels around 9°F. It's all good. It's exam week... I've already taken English, Spanish, and Pre-Calculus. What is most shocking is that I already got my Pre-Calc score back: 34/40. Not too bad. Band and French tomorrow! Things that are great right now:
The most addicting thing since the yo-yo, Alphabeat is so wonderfully europop-tastic and SCANDINAVIAN! I don't know what it is. I don't normally like this kind of music, but they are just so cheesy that it's perfect. I discovered them very recently thanks to this video.
Stuck in my head, ALWAYS.
I'm actually gonna watch a movie right now. Either Y tu mamá también or Le scaphandre et le papillon. I'll talk about both of them at some point. Sooo, that's all for now. Sorry for the short post.
Við sjáumst.
/the new layout totally threw off the pictures in my older posts; we don't talk about that./
